New Year, New Opportunities!
Year 2022 brought very unique thoughts in We Us n'Our Team i.e. Rebalancing our financial strength.
On the occasion of Women's day, the team had organized the session about "Financial awareness among Society". It covered the topics like Savings vs Investing, Basics of Stock market, Mutual fund, Insurance, Crypto currency, etc. Session was held successfully on 6th March 2022 offline as well as online and ofcourse the online participation was great in numbers.
Thanks to the team for proper planning of event and all the arrangements (session hall, speakers and experts, projector, etc.)! This small team (~15 members) managed it all in a very short span of time.
Overall spending for the event was little; knowledge is all worth it and team could see that on the participants faces!
Thanks a lot and best wishes to all from We Us n'Our Foundation for such a great giving back to the society!
On 1-April-2021, the members of the Foundation visited 2 schools: Pemraj Gugale Vidyalaya, Maliwada, and Ambika Vidyalaya, Kedgaon to see if the sanitary pad vending machines provided by the organization are functioning properly or not.
The machine is working properly at Ambika Vidyalaya; but due to a low number of students, the results will take some more time to meet our expectations. There was a small problem with the machine at Gugale School, so members have asked the school to fix it as soon as possible.
Members of the organization will continue to visit on a monthly basis to follow up on both. Responses from both the schools will definitely increase from the next academic year and the members of the organization will continue their efforts towards this event.
On the occasion of Women's Day 8-March-2021, 'We Us n' Our Foundation' has set up 'Sanitary Pads Vending Machine' for girls in 2 schools in the city.
दुर्बलसेवायै तत्परः।, following the motto of this organization, Ambika Vidyalaya (Kedgaon) and Pemraj Gugale High School (Maliwada) were selected, understanding their needs.
For the girls of both the schools, Dr. Kamble and Dr. Thakur, Gynecologists, gave guidance on 'Menstrual Hygiene'.
The organization will continue to glorify women through such work.
